When someone you love is in our Intensive Care Unit, we know you are worried and concerned. We want to help ease your natural anxieties. First, be assured we are taking the very best care of your loved one. Our team is experienced, our facility is state-of-the-art, and our number one priority is caring for our patients and helping them recover.
Our interdisciplinary team works together to save and improve the lives of critically ill patients from the across our region, including Idaho, Wyoming, Montana, and Yellowstone National Park. Our members include individuals from a vast scope of expertise, inlcuding physicians, nurses, monitor techs, nurse’s aides, physical therapists, respiratory therapists, dietitians, pharmacists, occupational and speech therapists, social services, and spiritual support.
EIRMC is a Level 1 Intensive Care Unit, a designation that means we provide the highest level of intensive care for all cardiology, neurology, and trauma patients. Our Critical Care services are led by physicians who have the experience, expertise, and commitment necessary to oversee critically ill patients. Not only do we provide critical care services for Adults, but we provide intensive care for the full age spectrum including babies in our NICU and children and teens in our PICU. Outside Idaho Falls, the nearest Level 1 Critical Care Centers are located in Salt Lake City, Boise, and Missoula.
